Walking into the Rosenlofs’ household, you may get the urge to fly. That’s because nearly everything displayed has something to do with flight. From paintings of birds to pictures of balloons and airplanes, in our short lives we’ve collected many artifacts devoted to flying of all types. We own three hot air balloons and are building a small aircraft in our garage. Entire bookshelves are devoted to aviation-related books, and we have dozens of prints that aren’t even hung yet.

But even though both of us have FAA pilot certificates, flying is not our only form of recreation. We both enjoy myriad outdoor activities, including hiking, running, birding, gold prospecting, astronomy, and photography.  We watch NASCAR racing and NFL football (go Packers!). We’ve traveled overseas and to nearly every state in the United States, from Maine to Washington, Florida to California.

Along the way, we’ve collected more than 20,000 digital pictures and the experiences that go with them. So we wanted to share some of these pictures and experiences with you. We hope you enjoy them!
